Effective administration and organization is critical to the success of any activity. As such the ARNTD has put in place robust organizational structures and procedures to ensure that our objectives are met in a timely fashion. The ARNTD operates in virtual manner but maintains a lean Executive Secretariat (ES) which maximizes the use of IT to coordinate and facilitate communication with and among members.
The ARNTD Secretariat is hosted by the Kumasi Centre for Collaborative Research (KCCR) in Kumasi, Ghana, which currently provides legal covering and logistical support to the Secretariat. The Secretariat is staffed by three professionals, a part-time (50%) Executive Director – ED (Dr. John Amuasi), and supported by a Scientific Officer – SO (Dr. Isaac Osei) and a Research Assistant – RA (Mr. Louis Adu-Amoah), to oversee the activities of the network. The ED is a Senior Research Fellow, the SO doubles as a Research Officer, and the RA is a PhD Student, all at KCCR.
