Benjamin Spears Ngmekpele Cheabu is a global health expert and Project Manager with the African Research Network for Neglected Tropical Diseases (ARNTD) at the Kumasi Centre for Collaborative Research into Tropical Medicine (KCCR) at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).He has extensive experience in public health and program management, including managing multi-million-dollar health projects for HIV, TB, malaria, and community health systems in Ghana. Benjamin has also coordinated cross-border initiatives for community resilience and early action with the International Federation of the Red Cross. He holds dual master’s degrees in Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation from KNUST and International Health from the Heidelberg Institute of Global Health and is committed to advancing global health and tackling NTDs.

ARNTD exists to support evidence-based control and elimination of NTDs from Africa by empowering current and future generations of African researchers.
