Neta Kris Abiana Parsram

Profile

Dr. Neta Kris Abiana Parsram is a medical doctor, multi-award-winning journalist, and Communications Lead for the African Research Network for Neglected Tropical Diseases (ARNTD) and the Global Health and Infectious Diseases (GHID) at the Kumasi Center for Collaborative Research in Tropical Medicine (KCCR).   She is currently completing an MPH in Global Health and Non-Communicable Diseases at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), with a focus on health policy and research communications.


As a health correspondent for Multimedia Group Limited, Dr. Parsram writes and reports on health, science, research, and technology. Her role involves presenting work and research findings to partners and the larger community using digital, social, and traditional media. Dr. Parsram is passionate about using effective communication to bridge the gap between health research, the general public, and policy makers. 

ARNTD exists to support evidence-based control and elimination of NTDs from Africa by empowering current and future generations of African researchers.
