Nicholas Tendongfor

Profile

Born on January 5th 1970, Nicholas Tendongfor completed his high school in 1992. From 1993-1998, he obtained his BSc (1996), MSc (1996) and PhD (2007) in Microbiology University of Buea, Cameroon.

In 2004, he visited the Filariaisis Research laboratory of the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine where he carried out the immunological studies for his PhD thesis. He visited the Institute of Medical Microbiology, Immunology and Parasitology (IMMIP), Bonn, where he acquired skills in cytokine and antibody assays. Tendongfor has served as research assistant and co-investigator in a number of projects sponsored by the European Union and WHO.

He is currently Senior Lecturer of Microbiology/Parasitology and Coordinator of the Microbiology programme, University of Buea, Cameroon.
